Seahorse, Hippocampus


Seahorse (also written sea-horse and sea horse) is the name given to 54 species of small marine fishes in the genus Hippocampus. "Hippocampus" comes from the Ancient Greek word hippos ) meaning "horse" and kampos meaning "sea monster".
